Together with his computer genius friend Robert Deakins AKA Bob, an ex-CIA agent called Travis Skott, another super powered demon called Cyan, and a small band of British soldiers called The Order, they try to save Maari from Faceless.

However, she is tricked into a spaceship and blasted into low earth orbit with only electronic communications to control her army back on earth she is desperate to return, and decides she must possess another body. Queen Mabb chooses a woman called Maari Mathews and sets Faceless out to capture her.

In need of help, Maari contacts an ex-friend called Harry Vild. Vild is a retired assassin and initially wants nothing to do with Maari, but against his best inclinations, is persuaded to help. Together with his computer genius friend Robert Deakins AKA Bob, an ex-CIA agent called Travis Skott, another super powered demon called Cyan, and a small band of British soldiers called The Order, they try to save Maari from Faceless.
